Road Safety Policy
Land transportation and movement of Goods is a predominant activity associated with our operations. An efficient and safe road transport management system is a pre-requisite for achieving our Company’s safety and business goals.
Favoured Mike Cocoa Nigeria Ltd is therefore committed to complying with Nigerian road traffic regulations and in continuously improving its road safety performance by implementing a Road Safety Management Plan (RSMP) that is applicable to the entire Company vehicle.
The RSMP details responsibilities, systems, procedures, communications,
competences, and other requirements Favoured Mike Cocoa Nigeria Ltd will implement and enforce so as to achieve a measurable and continuous improvement in road safety matters.
The Managing Director is responsible for the overall Health Safety and
Environmental performance within Favoured Mike Cocoa Nigeria Ltd. The implementation and enforcement of the RSMP is delegated to FAVOURED MIKE COCOA NIGERIA LTD Departmental Manager.
Every Favoured Mike Cocoa Nigeria Ltd Employee having one or more vehicles under his/her responsibility and every Company vehicle user (passenger and driver) will be held accountable for his/her performances related to road safety management.
While we ensure all new drivers are competent possess adequate drivers license and training certifications, we provide compulsory defensive driving training for all our staff every three years.
